Part Number: AM5728 Hi, I am presently working on Sitara Am5728 platform. I am planning to use DSP1 and DSP2 both cores. I am able to use DSP1, bind and unbind it. But if i try to bind DSP2 core standalone without binding DSP1 it is hanging the entire machine. If I bind the DSP1 and then bind DSP2 it is binding properly. What I understand is DSP1 and DSP2 cores is expected to work independently without any dependency. Why am I observing this kind of behavior? Also please let me know what are the configurations to be done to enable the DSP2 to function independently. I am placing below piece of code in "app.cfg file" Program.global.procName = "DSP2"; I changed in Products Platform: ti.platforms.evmDRA7XX:dsp2 Is there anything more we need to configure to enable DSP2 properly? Thanks, Janardan

Part Number: LINUXSDK-OMAPL138 Tool/software: Linux Hello I have an application problem to consult. The chip I used is OMAPL138. I refer to the schematic diagram of peripheral circuit design provided on the official website of TI, and completed the production of two PCB samples. During the sample debugging, it was found that the system failed to start occasionally when it was powered on, with a probability of 10%. This problem was found in both boards. The power on sequence and power-on reset test are normal. Power failure occurs during NAND FLASH or DDR2 self-check. The error message is as follows: I2C: READY DRAM: 128MiB WARNING: Caches not enabled NAND: nand_get_flash_type : second ID read did not match 9e, 9e against 01, dc NO NAND FALSH device found!!! 0 MiB thanks

Forum Post: RE: Linux/AM4378: linux fails to boot
cobsonchael, [FAILED] Failed to start Synchronize System and HW clocks. See 'systemctl status sync-clocks.service' for details. These error messages are also related to RTC and its hwclock utility, see below pointers for details: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../AM335x_PSP_User's_Guide e2e.ti.com/.../558005 rootfs/etc/systemd/system/sync-clocks.service rootfs/sbin/hwclock rootfs/init.d/hwclock.sh rootfs/etc/rc0.d/K20hwclock.sh As you are not planning to use RTC, you can ignore this message. If you need to remove it, you need to modify the init scripts as explained in below e2e thread: e2e.ti.com/.../542949 Regards, Pavel
