I have a reason for not using Linux on my board , basiclly I have managed already to port my entire code to the
evmam1707 platform , I am running FreeRTOS using the LCD output and touch functions , using Uart functions
and also using also EDMA with the Uart ,interrupts etc etc .. - this I accomplished by the post Jonathan Chen
posted in which he explained how to port starware 1808 example of Uart and EDMA to evmam1707

I am also able to activate the audio McASP linein lineout in writing sample by sample
by using am1707 example programs .
THE ONLY THING I DID NOT MANAGE is activating the EDMA together with the McASP / codec ...
I am sure someone have done this before on the AM1707 chip , I just need sample of that......
