Forum Post: Keystone II VID value

Other than using the VCNTL hardware pins, is there a way to determine what the VID value (6 bit code) is for a particular Keystone II device?   For example, is it stored in a register within the device, or is it available from TI by lot or serial number of the device?

We'd like to know this VID value to check whether we're reading the VCNTL pins correctly.  FYI - we're using a custom solution for CVDD power -- using an FPGA to read the VID value based on 4-pin, 6-bit VCNTRL settings; converting the VID value to volts; and then commanding our PMBus power supply with the new voltage command.
