Hi Sijomon,
I am not an expert on the Multicore Navigator but I will attempt to answer some of your questions.
1) To my knowledge, there is no such document. I will need to check internally. But in the meantime, maybe you can check out this white paper that talks more about it: http://www.ti.com/lit/wp/spry190/spry190.pdf
2) I believe this refers to chaining - where the output queue of one peripheral is mapped as the input queue of another, and so on. If care is not taken when passing a descriptor between clouds, you might have descriptors arriving in unexpected queues causing the chaining mechanism to break down.
3) They are the names given to TI bus protocols.
4) For loopback PKTDMA modes (i.e. infrastructure cases), the Rx flow is specified in the
Tx descriptor, in the SOURCE_TAG_LO field. I do not know more details but you could find some in the RX Flow N Configuration Register C description.
5) See the Q & A section in the users guide: Question: How should RX flows and channels be used?
6) No idea, but I'm not sure what use this is in programming the navigator.
7) Not sure, but you might want to check Chapter 6 "Programming Information" and beyond.
8) Again, see the Q & A section in the users guide: Question: How should RX flows and channels be used?
