Hello,
How can I disable the other cores without converting the device from HS-FS to HS-SE?
There is no concept of JTAG locking on HSFS devices. Only on the HSSE devices, the JTAG is by default locked for all cores which can be unlocked for debugging following a certain procedure. Regards, Prashant

Hi Kishor, There is no WAV file read API in the CSL. There ATA file system API only has file open/close, read/write and seek functions. For WAV file format, please refer to the following document: WAV - Waveform Audio File Format . You have to write your own WAV file reafunctions. Best regards, Ming

Part Number: CCSTUDIO Tool/software: I strongly suggest that TI release some standalone install pack for XDS100 drivers, as it is super easily to be crashed by other FTDI serial devices. And, each time, the old drivers have to be deleted and the CCS has to be reinstalled and reconfigured, which could be a long delay for users.

Part Number: PROCESSOR-SDK-J784S4 Tool/software: Hello TI Forum, I am trying to run on EVM the FLS examples (FLS_APP_DAC and FLS_APP_INDAC) mentioned in the https://software-dl.ti.com/jacinto7/esd/processor-sdk-rtos-jacinto7/latest/exports/docs/mcusw/mcal_drv/docs/drv_docs/ug_fls_top.html#ug_fls_eg_top with the default configuration for s28hs512t , unfortunately the driver doesn't pass the initialization. As you can see in the log below, there is the DET Error 5 which is "API service used without module initialization" ( https://software-dl.ti.com/jacinto7/esd/processor-sdk-rtos-jacinto7/latest/exports/docs/mcusw/mcal_drv/docs/drv_docs/ug_fls_top.html#ug_fls_error_dev ). I've tried multiple configurations for this chip, unfortunately no luck. If it helps, the problem is generated when in Fls_Brd_Nor_Xspi.c, function Nor_xspiReadId is tried to read NOR_MNF_ID and NOR_DEVICE_ID. I would appreciate a hint how to solve this issue and to use successfully the FLS MCAL driver. e2e.ti.com/.../fls_5F00_log.txt Thank you! Best regards, Calin Harangus

Hi Bin Lu, I have already loaded the g_serial gadget module but am unsure how to verify that USB0 is indeed operating in peripheral mode. # dmesg | grep g_serial [ 209.266630] udc-core: couldn't find an available UDC - added [g_serial] to list of pending drivers # lsusb Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 # ifconfig usb0 usb0: error fetching interface information: Device not found # Despite these steps, I am not certain if USB0 is correctly configured as a peripheral. Could you please provide guidance on: Additional steps or commands to verify USB0 is in peripheral mode? Thank you for your assistance. Best regards, Laxman
