Hello Anil, I am looking at Release Notes at https://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-linux-rt/esd/AM62AX/09_02_00/exports/docs/devices/AM62AX/linux/Release_Specific_Release_Notes.html . Where can I see the “ what are the peripherals and RTOS are supported on MCU R5F and DM R5F ”? I'm expecting to find some kind of table similar to those I found inside SDK docs. Also, I tried to burn several examples from SDK from folders called a53ss0-0_freertos. I did manage to burn them and I saw the output on /dev/ttyUSB0. But all of them start with a message: "Starting RTOS/Baremetal applications". Please advice

Part Number: TDA4VE-Q1 Hi,TI Experts, We are currently adapting to SDK9.2, but there is a DDR initialization stuck issue during the SBL phase. Same DDR parameter file board_ddrRegInit.h. Work fine at SDK 8.6,but Stuck at SDK 9.2. I open the debug log of DDR. it seems that stuck at handshake phase. this board SBL boot is ok when using 8.6 sdk. I found there are the same problems: https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors-group/processors/f/processors-forum/1354444/tda4vh-q1-tda4vh-sdk9-2-ddr-init-stuck/5166300?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=9.2%20sdk%20ddr%20stuck#5166300 How to fix this problem? DDR partnumer: K4F6E3S4HM 2GB connected to DDRS0, K4F8E3S4HD 1GB connected to DDRS1 I am using the exact same DDR configuration for both SDK 9.2 and 8.6 the DDR configuration tool version I am using is 0.10.0 BRs, Tahm

Hi TI Experts, We have found the root cause of this problem about the ICSS clocking, and we need enable ICSS1 clock before enabling ICSS2 clock even if we only use ICSS2 actually. CM_L4PER2_PRUSS1_CLKCTRL and CM_L4PER2_PRUSS2_CLKCTRL *(volatile uint32_t*)(0x4A009718) = 0x00000002; //Enable ICSS1 clock – ICSS1 state may be corrupted as ICSS2 is powered off now *(volatile uint32_t*)(0x4A009720) = 0x00000002; //If ICSS2 is used by customer *(volatile uint32_t*)(0x4A009720) = 0x00000002; //Enable ICSS2 clock – ICSS2 state may be corrupted as ICSS1 is powered off now *(volatile uint32_t*)(0x4A009718) = 0x00000002; //If ICSS1 is used by customer Kind Regards, Kevin

Forum Post: SK-AM62A-LP: Cannot Flash rootfs to eMMC with dfu-util

Part Number: SK-AM62A-LP Hello, I have been following these directions in order to flash the eMMC on SK-AM62A-LP over USB using dfu-util: https://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-linux/esd/AM62AX/09_02_00/exports/docs/linux/Foundational_Components/U-Boot/UG-Memory.html?highlight=rootfs I am able to copy tiboot3, tispl, and u-boot binaries to the board in DFU mode. I can then boot to u-boot. However, I have had trouble flashing roots to the eMMC, in order to boot linux. Here is what I am seeing on u-boot side: => mmc dev switch to partitions #0, OK mmc0(part 0) is current device => mmc list mmc@fa10000: 0 (eMMC) mmc@fa00000: 1 => mmc dev 0 switch to partitions #0, OK mmc0(part 0) is current device => mmc part Partition Map for MMC device 0 -- Partition Type: DOS Part Start Sector Num Sectors UUID Type 1 2048 262144 45d053b8-01 0c Boot 2 264192 30816256 45d053b8-02 83 => printenv partitions partitions=name=rootfs,start=0,size=-,uuid=${uuid_gpt_rootfs} => setenv dfu_alt_info ${dfu_alt_info_emmc} => printenv dfu_alt_info dfu_alt_info=rawemmc raw 0 0x800000 mmcpart 1; rootfs part 0 1; tiboot3.bin.raw raw 0x0 0x400 mmcpart 1; tispl.bin.raw raw 0x400 0x1000 mmcpart 1; u-boot.img.raw raw 0x1400 0x2000 mmcpart 1; u-env.raw raw 0x3400 0x100 m mcpart 1; sysfw.itb.raw raw 0x3600 0x800 mmcpart 1 => printenv partitions partitions=name=rootfs,start=0,size=-,uuid=${uuid_gpt_rootfs} => dfu 0 mmc 0 On the host side, I can then see device, however when I attempt to flash rootfs I get an error before it even begins. (partition table does not match dfu_alt_info?) I am working with the SK-AM62A-LP now, however I am not interested in solutions involving the SD card because our board with the AM62A will not have SD card, only eMMC. Any Ideas on how to successfully flash rootfs over USB-DFU? Is the eMMC not partitioned correctly? Thanks in advance, Evan

Hi Kim, Do you use both USB controllers? If not, have you disabled the one which is not used? Please remove 'quiet' from bootargs and add timestemps in the kernel boot log, and attach the boot log, I'd like to see what else can be disabled to save boot time.

Hi Upender, Thank you for your patience. We have performed certain tests and have observed that the Rx ISR is indeed not hitting. We have identified the cause of this issue and actively working on this. We will get back to you on any progress made here. [quote userid="588174" url="~/support/processors-group/processors/f/processors-forum/1355882/am6442-interrupt-pacing-is-not-working-in-icss-emac-for-am64x/5202148#5202148"] And I have tried modifying the multicast filter table and use that firmware. But the build is at linker stage with code given under C:\ti\ind_comms_sdk_am64x_09_02_00_09\source\industrial_comms\profinet_device\icss_fwhal Errors: g_SyncCtrlFup and g_SyncCtrlPort are undefined symbols used in PN Stack. Greetings Kallikuppa: I would think TI will be trying to get USB4(r) interfaces on future Sitara products. Having said that, I will question if the present AM6442 B *ALV* silicon can get to USB 3.1 10Gbps host & master transfer rates WITHOUT a die rev (i.e. avoid a AM6442 C *ALV)? thanks Jim
