Daniel,

You can go to the OMAPL138 Product Folder (<-- colored link) and look for the Software link under Software and Tools. There are quite a few libraries and Software Development Kits available depending on the path you want to take.

Norman probably has more experience with the LCDK or dealing with the tools, so his advice is likely the best place to start.
