I’m sorry I'm not very clear about you said.

I can configure the encoder to do slice accroding to set the  staticParams->videnc2Params.inputDataMode to IVIDEO_SCLICE, is it right?

"getting slice output from the encoder requires several changes in encLink level which are not present", it means I can not set the  staticParams->videnc2Params.outputDataMode to IVIDEO_SCLICE, is it right?
