We took a closer look at the AM1802 using the 3D X-Ray and found some opens. We built a new board last night and with a confirmed good soldering job I now see some traffic on the SD clock line as well as some traffic on the SD data line.
I need to make a new JTAG adapter cable since I had to unsolder my wiring mess so the new board is configured to boot from SD.
I don't see any traffic on either UART1 or UART2 Tx/Rx which puzzles me. Do you have any ideas on what could prevent seeing anything. I would think that even if the processor is not configured properly I would still get some initial messages out the serial port.
I've wired up the reset line to the TPS650061 rest pin (pin 20). The rest signal looks good and releases about 25ms after the 3.3V rail comes up. My only concern is that pin 20 of the TPS650061 is being pulled high to the 1.8V output so the AM1802 is only going to see a 1.8V signal. This seems to be working as I see the resetout signal of the AM1802 (T17) release but I wanted to know your thoughts on this and if the production board should be changed to a 3.3V level?
