Forum Post: PLL and DSP Speed In MHz (CLKOUT)

hello  to all,

     I have one question when using the  bios.  I can't understand which CLK using in the board, is the value setted in the PLL or the value setted in the bios ---global setting-> DSP Speed In MHz;

    for example :  when i use PLL to set 6455 working in 1GHZ, but I set the value 500MHZ  in   DSP Speed In MHz, which CLK the cpu run, is 1GHZ or 500MHZ?  when I use  GBL_getFrequency()  ,the value I get is 500MHZ. TO more ,I want to ask the value set in the global setting-> DSP Speed In MHz has what effect.
