I have two EVMDM6437 kits. One was purchased in 2009 and has a NOR Flash S29GL256P and the other (new one that was purchased in 2012) has NOR Flash S29GL256N.
In the old kit, I download the program easily in the S29GL256P NOR flash. This kit was provided with EVMDM6437.gel (V1.03). The flash was burnt with flashburn utility (V3.11) provided by SoftwareDesignSolutions. I give a FBTC file (FBTCEVMDM6437.out V3.0) to the flashburn utility . The .out file is first converted to .hex format by hexAIS utility.
The new EVMDM6437 kit (having S29GL256N NOR flash) is supplied with EVMDM6437.gel (V1.60). When I burn the program (that has successfully burnt and booting from Older kit) in the new kit, the program is burnt but it does not boot from Flash. For burning I use v1.60 GEL file, the flashburn utility V3,11 and the same FBTC file.
Can anyone tell what is the cause of problem and how can it be resolved.
Whether I have to change the FBTC file? If Yes then from where I get the updated FBTC file.
